How do I pursue a career in music? What does the future hold for me? In this series of conversations, Prof. Sharon Choa, Dean of the School of Music at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts will attempt to demystify this journey by talking to outstanding musicians from Hong Kong and abroad, discussing their journeys from music students to professional musicians.
Journeys in Composition
Joyce Tang and Lawrence Lau are two Hong Kong composers featured in the Beyond Impressionism programme at the Hong Kong Arts Festival. Lawrence is a music and composition student at the start of his career, and Joyce is one of the most active composers in Hong Kong. Both will share their experiences in conversation with Prof. Sharon Choa.
