Renowned Beijing Opera artists Yu Kuizhi, one of the finest laosheng (old male) and Li Shengsu, one of the great specialists in the qingyi or dan role. In this talk, they will discuss the artistry of Peking Opera. As part of the talk, they will also discuss the School of Mei and the style of Mei Baojiu. Excerpts of video and some demonstrations will be included as part of the programme.
